Describe India’s contact with China. What was the mutual effect on this contact?

Our contact with China started from 65 BC. Many Chinese scholars and travellers came to India. Many Buddhist monks visited China to propagate Buddhism. They took away many Buddhists works to China. We had political and trade relations with China, India learnt making paper, printing and sculpture from them. Indians also learnt the art of silk making from them. Chinese learnt the art of cotton growing from us.
